Verify website ownership

Prove DNS control so saved sites unlock full plan audit limits.

  1. Sign in and open Dashboard → Websites, then open the site you want to verify.
  2. On the site detail page, find Verify ownership and copy the TXT value (it looks like wpaq-site-verification=…).
  3. In your DNS provider (Cloudflare, Route 53, Namecheap, etc.), create a TXT record. Use the hostname shown in the panel, usually your site host or apex. You can also publish at _wpaq-verify.<your-apex-domain>.
  4. Paste the exact TXT value from WPAQ into the record. Do not add quotes unless your provider requires them for TXT values.
  5. Wait a few minutes for DNS to propagate, then click Verify DNS record on the site page.
  6. When the panel shows Site verified, re-audit to use your plan’s full page limit. Monitoring and page exclusions can be enabled on Business and Agency.

Tip

If verification fails, wait a few more minutes and try again. Confirm the record is TXT (not CNAME), the host matches one of the accepted names, and the value is an exact match, including the wpaq-site-verification= prefix.
