Verify website ownership

Prove DNS control so saved sites unlock full plan scan limits.

  1. Sign in and open Dashboard → Websites, then open the site you want to verify.
  2. On the site detail page, find Verify ownership and copy the TXT value (it looks like wpaq-site-verification=…).
  3. In your DNS provider (Cloudflare, Route 53, Namecheap, etc.), create a TXT record. Use the hostname shown in the panel — usually your site host or apex. You can also publish at _wpaq-verify.<your-apex-domain>.
  4. Paste the exact TXT value from WPAQ into the record. Do not add quotes unless your provider requires them for TXT values.
  5. Wait a few minutes for DNS to propagate, then click Verify DNS record on the site page.
  6. When the panel shows Site verified, re-scan to use your plan’s full page limit. Monitoring can be enabled on Business and Agency.

Tip

If verification fails, wait a few more minutes and try again. Confirm the record is TXT (not CNAME), the host matches one of the accepted names, and the value is an exact match — including the wpaq-site-verification= prefix.
